Description

The CVA Wolf™ V2 has many new features including all the features that made the original Wolf the number one selling muzzleloader in the world. Still lightweight and easy to maneuver, the new Wolf V2 even comes with an adjustable stock that is customizable to any sized frame.

The CVA™ Wolf V2 features 100% ambidextrous stocks that are available in either matte black or camo. The Wolf V2 also features CVA’s new QRBP (Quick-Release Breech Plug) – the only truly tool-free removal breech plug on the market today. Even after 20 or more shots, the QRBP comes out with just a twist of the fingers – try that with any other "speed breech" system. Plus, the break-action breech opens easily with just a touch of the breeching button, which is located in the front of the trigger guard.

The CVA™ Wolf V2's compact and quick-pointing barrel is made of stainless steel and is set up with a DuraSight® fiber optic sights. The adjustable 1" stock insert makes the rifle just right for youth or small-framed adults, or even for the shooter who just wants a quick-handling gun for brush hunting. The Wolf V2, it’s a lot of gun – but not a lot of money.

Wolf CVA 50 cal

This is for the guy who says his wolf is all over the paper at 100 yards it’s not the gun. I love my CVA wolf 50cal I’ve shot at two deer and I hit both of them one at 118 yards and the other one at 85 yards and I used the scope that came with it. I sighted it in at 100 yards with 100 grains of white hots and with 150 grains 3 white hots it shots 4 inches low at 200 yards also I use 295 grain power belt hollow point slugs

CVA Wolf V2 Muzzleloader

AWEASOME = CVA Wolf™ V2 Muzzleloader - .50 Cal Black & Stainless - PR2117S

This was an additional CVA purchased for this year's Muzzle Loader deer season in South Dakota, as our family now has more black powder hunters. When we fired the gun at the range before going hunting. It preformed as expected as one of our hunters all ready uses a CVA Wolf we purchased in 2006. The improvements on the V2 are nice, and out of the box it was on paper at 25 yards off hand using a 100gr of powder and a Thor 350gr Bullet. With a little bit of zeroing the open sights it was good to go. I'm confidant if we had the opportunity to harvest a deer this season. The CVA Wolf V2 would have worked as advertised.

Thank you Muzzle-loaders.com & CVA for great service and another quality muzzle loader we will use for years to come!

OG Optima Mag Owner

I had and recently lost my OG Optima Mag w/Bergarra Stainless barrel and was upgraded to a TC Gorilla Scope speacil for the inline rifle it was stored w/friend who passed away anyway the gun sold through his estate I found out by visiting his home. I'm excited to buy this V2 cause it's a new version of what I did have for more than half the price I believe the OG cost me near $700 in Idaho the 209 Magnum w/scope THERE IS NOTHING BETTER FOR THE PRICE HANDS DOWN 1000% I'm buying the open sight version cause the scope version was a handful because scope malfunctions so did the Thompson Center upgrade and it was dialed using Hornady 300gr w/150gr Whitehots it'd put the smackdown on whatever was in it's path.
