The Rifled 1842 Springfield maintains the classic styling and handling of the time-honored Musket, while offering great performance and affordability. This Springfield model comes in a .69 caliber rifled barrel, perfect for maxi or round ball shooters. Features include a high quality, premium metallic finish and hand-oiled gloss wood stock. The 1842 Springfield is approved by the North-South Skirmish Association (N-SSA).
The Rifled Traditions 1842 Springfield Musket comes with a percussion cap ignition and boasts high-visibility rear open sights. The musket features a locking hooked breech for easy barrel cleaning and removal. The 1842 Springfield features a smooth single-action trigger in an ormate trigger-guard. The rifle also comes complete with classic metal embellishments and inlaid solid metal butt plate. The Traditions™ 1842 Springfield Musket is a .69 caliber percussion rifle sporting a 42" rifled barrel and custom metal ramrod. The musket has an overall length of 58" and weighs in at 10.6 lbs.
