My old man an I own 3 between us. We have hunted everything just about with them from squirrels and coons to turkeys. We mainly turkey hunt with them though. Often times I will leave my automatic shotguns at home and pack the TK. Only down fall is they one have one shot but we all know turkey hunting that is about all you need anyway. I just hope they never quit making them. Because after almost 15 years our first two are about wore out. Prolly will purchase one before this coming spring to replace my first one.
Awesome place. Got my TK2000 a day early and the price was awesome!
This gun throws the tightest pattern I have ever seen, with 1-1 1/4 oz loads of #5 or #6 shot it is good out to 40 yards and more. Just a great gun.
I have owned two of these guns. This is the only gun I use for turkeys. I won one about 15 years ago at a NWTF banquet. Used it the first year and was hooked. Liked it so well I bought a new camo thumb hole stock one to keep as a back up. It's still in the closet in the box. First one still works great, even though all of the camo is worn off. Easy to load. There are times I leave the power in it for 2 weeks at a time, because of how Illinois has it's seasons. Shoots 40 yards consistently. Will it shoot the 60 and 70 yard shots that the new shot shells sell. No, but I'm a turkey hunter I will not shoot those yardages. Hope this helps. Sure like this gun.
