Description

Hodgdon® Triple Seven™ FFG Loose Powder is a revolutionary black powder substitute made from gluconic acid, a sugar-based propellant that is more efficient than Blackpowder or Pyrodex.  The powder is sulfur-free so leaves no noxious odor after firing, plus it burns efficiently leaving fewer residues to simplify cleaning.

Triple Seven™ Powder produces the highest velocities by volume of any granular muzzleloading propellant, resulting in flatter trajectories and more accurate shots. This powder comes in FFG granulation that is designed for use in .50 caliber firearms and .10, .12, .16 and .20 gauge side by sides.

Developed for today’s modern muzzleloader, Triple Seven™ loose powder is far more economical and is easier to ignite.  For shooters who prefer loose powder to pellets, it delivers superior velocity and accuracy with less fouling. Best yet, it cleans up easily with plain water.

**Do not exceed the loads displayed in the loading guide. Never mix any two powders regardless of type, brand, or source. Never substitute any smokeless powder for Black Powder or any Black Powder substitute.

Great Powder

I have been using black powder for years and this powder does as advertise compare to stander 2ff blackpowder its cleaner no sulfer smell when cleaning wipe out easy out at range while target practice that promble with blackpowder it corrosive, and highly dirty cause 2nd shot reloading with sabot or conical bullets hard to load in inline rifle this stuff is more cleaner burn in the rifle barrel 2nd follow up reloading easier and I use musket caps and 209 shotgun primer never fail me on igniting shot after shot when do your part prepping barrel and can leave loaded with no concern of barrel damage from salts and sulfer residue in powder I have old hawken rifle use no.11 caps that high maintance rifle! Tripple 777 2FF powder not as clean as BH209 but its 1/4 cost to use and store well for me I put silica moisture absorber out mediscene bottle in powder bottle when not in use prevent clumping when store long trem. I recommend it.

Triple 777 loose powder

Great product, less fowling compared to Goex and seems to have a bit more of a punch. With a hundred grains I get about 70 shot a pound. 20 more shots than the pellets and cheaper.
