The Pietta™ 1858 Remington Revolver was one of the most popular side arms of the Civil War and was the last of the Remington percussion revolvers to be manufactured. This 1858 revolver pistol features a tapered octagon barrel, steel frame, brass trigger guard, 6-shot cylinder, fixed sights and two-piece walnut grips. 

Popular for it's ruggedness and solid frame the revolver's ability to quickly change cylinders made the Remington Navy Revolver a favorite of officers during the Civil War. More than 125,000 of these revolvers were produced by Remington.

Very impressed with the fast delivery. Fit and finish of the revolver is excellent and it's nice to see Pietta uses a dovetailed front sight now (just like Uberti).
