The Blackhorn® Starter Jag centers your bullet perfectly in the bore, and will not damage or deform polymer tipped bullets. Your choice of .44/45 or .50 caliber jag also doubles as a handy cleaning accessory with its innovative, “Patch Grabber” design of alternating direction of opposing barbs that guarantees to keep cleaning patches snug during cleaning.  

The combined Bullet Aligner and Starter Jag is CNC-machined from solid brass and features a radius-cut reinforced tip to resist bending or breaking. The Blackhorn’s® threaded stud is made from steel to provide maximum strength, and is designed to attach to any standard Muzzleloading rod or ramrod with 10-32 threading.
