The Leupold® UltimateSlam, introduced nearly a decade ago, is still the premier scope for muzzleloaders and short-range rifles. The UltimateSlam™ is optimized for shots from 75 to 300 yards, however, the scope performs well at distances beyond that. The UltimateSlam™ comes in three variations, each serving a unique niche in the market. While comparable to the VX-2, the UltimateSlam™ is designed specifically for accurate short-range shooting in modern inline muzzleloaders.

The Leupold UltimateSlam™ is supremely adaptable and accurate, making shots up to 300 yards worry-free and reliable. Each Leupold scope is nitrogen-filled, making them fog-proof and waterproof in the harshest environments. Leupold’s Multicoat 4™ lens coating system reflects excess light and focuses the remaining optimal light towards the eye for pristine image quality. The scope features easy finger click adjustments (¼-MOA) that can be made by simply turning the dial, with each click adjusting one centimeter. Each scope is crafted out of 6061 aircraft aluminum, which makes it resistant to corrosion and creates a sturdy frame to keep every component in place. Leupold’s glass components are lead-free and ecologically friendly. By using Leupold’s Zygo Interferometer combined with Ze-max design software, each lens is built to boost resolution and reduce wavefront error.

The Leupold UltimateSlam SA.B.R. is a short range scope that has a generous eyebox which makes target recognition fast and easy. The UltimateSlam SA.B.R. is also engineered for accurate, long range shots. While efficient in short-range, the new ‘Saboted Ballistics Reticle’ (SA.B.R.) has hold points up to 300 yards and can quickly adapt to many situations. Scope customization settings can be saved for easy reference through its unique ballistics indicator ring.

The Leupold UltimateSlam LR Turret features a Custom Dial System, which accurately focuses the Wind-Plex reticle up to 300 yards. The Ultimate Slam LR Turret has no adjustment covers, making finger click adjustments fast and hassle-free. The CDS laser-inscribes the elevation dial and matches it with the load data, making it easy to compensate for bullet drop and other variables. The Leupold UltimateSlam LR Turret is designed to tune perfectly with your muzzleloader bullet and load data, giving you an ultra-accurate scope up to 300 yards.

The Leupold Illuminated UltimateSlam combines the FireDot SA.B.R. with hold points up to 300 yards. The bright FireDot center point increases target recognition in low visibility environments. The Illuminated UltimateSlam features six illumination settings and the Motion Sensor Technology will automatically turn the FireDot off after five minutes of inactivity.  The FireDot will reactivate as soon as it senses motion again. The Leupold Illuminated UltimateSlam is designed to maximize optical quality in low light situations.
